Small pools require special attention since children are their main users. They have not developed their immune system or the dermis at all, they come into contact for long periods with a medium that must be chemically balanced to minimize possible incidents. Therefore, we must pay special attention to perfectly adjust the Alkalinity (100 and 140 ppm) and the pH (7.0 and 7.4).
Another critical factor is the level of disinfectant, if it’s too low it can cause the appearance of bacteria harmful causing different infections; otitis, dermatitis, diarrhea, etc … and if it’s very high; eye irritation, dermatitis, respiratory problems, etc. We suggest analyze water one hour before bathing to correct any of these parameters if necessary.
A mini pool isn’t easy to balance, it’s a relatively small volume of water and with a high bath load, therefore a lot of attention must be paid to it.
